Henny is a 5-year-old Basset Hound/Pit Bull mix with a heart full of love and a story that makes his second chance even more special. After his owner sadly passed away, Henny found himself at risk of being put down—but thankfully, he was given the opportunity to start over and find a new family to love.

Now, Henny is exactly what you’d hope for in a best friend—a total cuddle machine who will happily run straight into your arms for hugs. He’s incredibly friendly, sweet, and just wants to be close to his people. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, going for a car ride (one of his favorite things!), or playing with his toys, Henny is happiest when he’s by your side. He does great with older kids and has a calm, affectionate nature that makes him an easy companion. After everything he’s been through, Henny is ready for a fresh start—a home where he can feel safe, loved, and never have to worry again.
