Robin TheBank

Robin is a 3-4 year old, 28lb mixed breed lady who is looking for a calm and patient home to truly blossom! She's a bit of a wallflower who prefers to keep to herself and just hang out, much like a cat. Robin had a rough start in life, and life has been a little scary for her so far. She needs ample time and space to warm up and discover that the world isn't such a big, bad place. She's incredibly sweet and will steal your heart faster than a pickpocket.

Ideal Home

Robin would thrive in a calm environment with patient humans who understand she needs time to adjust. She'd benefit greatly from having another confident, resident dog in the home to help build her confidence, though slow introductions are a must. She is best suited for a home with children 12+ or very dog-savvy younger children, as she can be startled by loud noises and fast movements. A securely fenced yard is essential if she is not being leash-walked, as she is an expert escape artist!

Robin has no known medical needs.

Training & Support

Robin is house-trained but needs to be taken out on a consistent schedule. She is also crate-trained and views her crate as her safe space, where she prefers to spend her time. She is making progress on leash training but requires a metal leash as she can chew through nylon ones very quickly. She is terrified in the car and will try to hide, preferring to make her getaways on foot.
