April

April is a delightful and spirited approximately 10-month-old Chihuahua mix, weighing in at about 8-9 lbs. She came to us with her dear friend Remy after finding herself in an overcrowded shelter. Initially a bit reserved, April has blossomed in foster care and is now a happy, playful girl who loves to explore the outdoors, especially with Remy by her side. She enjoys zoomies in the yard, but also cherishes quiet time, napping with her foster family and canine companions. April is affectionate, well-mannered, and has an independent streak that keeps life interesting. She enjoys being part of the action and receiving cuddles, but doesn't demand attention constantly. Her favorite place is outside, soaking up the sunshine, but she's just as content to curl up for a nap at the end of the day.

Ideal Home

April would thrive in a home that appreciates her playful spirit and her bond with other dogs. She is good with respectful children.

Ongoing Health

April is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

April is crate trained and about 98% housebroken. She is still working on leash skills, so continued positive reinforcement will be beneficial.
