Ginger Peaches is an 11-month-old, 31 lb bundle of love who is a unique mix of Pit Bull and Chihuahua. She has the sweetest soul, with big, expressive eyes and adorable floppy ears that will melt your heart. Ginger is a total people-lover who bonds deeply with her humans, showering them with affection and making them feel like the most important person in the world. She enjoys being by your side and will follow you around, eager to be a part of your day. Ginger has been great with older children and has a gentle, respectful nature that makes her a thoughtful companion. She can be a little shy when meeting new dogs, preferring to observe before joining in, and she tends to gravitate towards calmer canine friends. Ginger has a fun, balanced personality; she loves to play with her stuffy toys and enjoys a good zoomie in a backyard, but she's also quiet and adaptable, making her a potential fit for apartment living with adequate exercise and socialization. She's crate trained, potty trained, and knows commands like "sit" and "shake," which she does with both paws! Ginger is more than just cute; she's a devoted sidekick, a cozy couch buddy, and a cherished member of the family.
Ideal Home
Ginger would thrive in a home where she can be a true companion and is not left alone for long periods. She has done well with children ages 12 and 16, and with continued positive introductions, could potentially do well with younger children. She enjoys the company of calmer dogs and would benefit from a home that can provide opportunities for her to socialize and play.
Ongoing Health
Ginger is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea and heartworm prevention. She has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Ginger is crate trained and potty trained. She knows "sit" and "shake." While she enjoys playtime, she isn't overly hyper and has a balanced energy level. She has a respectful demeanor with other dogs and benefits from having space to acclimate when meeting new dogs.
