Jeri

Jeri is a male adult dog with a primary breed of Rat Terrier. He and his companion, Meri, were found living under a shipping container and were very fearful of people. It took considerable effort to gain their trust. Jeri can still be wary and untrusting of new people and situations. He has been known to nip when stressed or excited, but this is not to say he wouldn't warm up to the right person. If his trust is earned, Jeri can be a sweet companion.

Ideal Home

Jeri would do best in a calm, low-activity home with a dog-savvy individual who has great patience and love to offer. He is not suitable for homes with seniors, children, or cats due to his unpredictability and terrier tendencies. Jeri should be adopted separately from Meri to allow him to fully bond with his new owner.

Ongoing Health

Jeri is neutered, vaccinated, and on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Jeri can nip when stressed or excited and requires a patient owner to build trust.
