REX. a.k.a. Rexie the Bestie

Meet Rex, Rexie the Bestie! This bubbly and outgoing guy is a 68lb Black Lab mix with an estimated birthday in September 2020. Rex is tall, dark, and handsome, and loves to run, play, and get praise for being a good boy. He's a master of the "sit" for treats and is guaranteed to shower you with kisses! Rex is a big snuggler and thinks he's a lap dog, easily fitting into laps despite his nearly 70lb frame. He was rescued as a stray after a difficult start in life, but he's now ready to find his forever person or people to share all his love with. Rex has done wonderfully at adoption events, even attending an Astro's watch party and a dinner at a dog-friendly restaurant with his best buddy Bambi, where he was patient and enjoyed people-watching.

Ideal Home

Rex would love a home where he can run, play, and snuggle. He is dog selective, friendly with female dogs, and friendly with male dogs after proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He is also kennel and potty trained.

Training & Support

Rex is eager to please and loves validation. He has been well-behaved at events and outings.

Transportation

Rex is located in Houston, TX. Transport out of Texas is available to Eastern, Western, and neighboring states via ground transport services. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates.
