Meet Ashton!

Ashton is a 4-year-old, 88-pound bundle of Yellow Labrador Retriever joy! He's a big boy with a big personality and a heart full of love. Ashton was returned to us because his family was moving, and after growing up in a home since he was a puppy, this has been a big adjustment for him. Despite the change, he's a happy and energetic boy who's taking it all in stride. Ashton's favorite game is fetch – he'll eagerly bring the ball right back for another round! He thrives on activity and cherishes his time with his people. While he's a strong boy who sometimes forgets his size, he's incredibly sweet and has done well with other dogs here at the shelter. He's truly looking for a family to commit to him for life and provide the stability he deserves.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is heartworm positive and will receive treatment here at the shelter. He will need a family that is committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care moving forward so he can stay happy and healthy for years to come.

Training & Support

Ashton is a strong boy who doesn’t always understand just how big he is. Guidance and consistent training will help him continue to learn and grow.
