A little about them
Gemma is a loyal, affectionate, friendly 2-year-old mixed-breed dog who weighs 65 pounds. She enjoys belly rubs, rolling onto her back, giving hugs, and sharing her big personality with people she trusts. She may take a little time to warm up to strangers, but she has been wonderfully affectionate with her caregivers.
Ideal Home
Gemma loves kids and would do best in a cat-free home, as she will chase cats. She has previously shown food guarding around other dogs, so a meet and greet with potential canine siblings is recommended. Her future family should also account for her impressive climbing ability when planning yard time.
Ongoing Health
Gemma is spayed and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Gemma is completely housetrained and knows how to sit and give paw. She loves jumping up to hug people she likes, and her caregivers are working on redirecting that behavior. She is not a fan of water and benefits from slow introductions to new people.
