Barkus Aurelius, also known as Aurelio, is a charming 4-month-old Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with a heart of gold. He's a playful and affectionate puppy who loves being part of the family, whether he's wrestling with his sisters, enjoying belly rubs, or snuggling up for a cuddle. Aurelio is a quick learner, especially when motivated by treats, and has already mastered basic commands like "lay," "stay," and "paw." He's making great progress with crate and potty training and is learning valuable lessons in patience and impulse control.
Ideal Home
Aurelio would thrive in a home that can provide him with a structured routine, consistency, and plenty of love. While he's learning to coexist with an older dog, slow and supervised introductions would be recommended for cats and young children, as he hasn't met them yet. He's still working on not jumping when excited, so a home that can help him with this would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Aurelio is a healthy young puppy. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, preventative treatments, and microchipping.
Training & Support
Aurelio is an intelligent and eager puppy who benefits from positive reinforcement and consistency. He is still learning impulse control and appropriate greetings. Ongoing training will help him continue to grow into a well-behaved companion.

Transportation
Aurelio is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in various states and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
