Lucy June Scout

Lucy June Scout is a barely two-month-old bundle of joy with the heart of an adventurer and the soul of a cuddle bug! She's curious, affectionate, and confident, approaching new people and animals with a sweet demeanor. Lucy is estimated to be a Labrador Retriever and Carolina Dog mix, weighing around 5 pounds. She's off to a fantastic start in her foster home, learning to be a well-rounded and confident pup.

Ideal Home

Lucy would thrive in a home that's ready for the fun, laughter, and occasional puppy antics that come with raising a young dog. She's equally happy exploring the world or curling up after a day of adventures.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is up-to-date on her vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms and received treatment if needed.

Training & Support

Lucy is making wonderful progress with her training. She's already using potty pads successfully and is learning to do her business outside on the grass. She will continue to learn house manners, leash skills, and other basics with guidance from her new family. Her foster home has also been working on socialization and introducing her to new experiences, people, and animals, making her a wonderfully social and eager-to-learn companion.

Transporation

Lucy is currently located in the Houston area, Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up their pet from the Houston area.
