Hi, I'm Chico! I'm a sweet senior gentleman with a heart of gold, a friendly personality, and a whole lot of love left to give. I'm the kind of dog who is happiest simply being near my people. Whether we're relaxing at home, enjoying time in the yard, or running errands together, I'm always happy to be your faithful sidekick. My foster family says I'm one of the easiest dogs they've ever met because I'm well-mannered, affectionate, and always eager to spend time with the people I love. I'm potty trained and do a great job letting my humans know when I need to go outside. I enjoy wandering around the yard, taking in all the sights and smells, but I always come running when I'm called. I may be a senior, but don't let that fool you. I'm still mobile, playful, and full of life. I can jump, play, and keep up with the action when I want to. I'm wonderful with other dogs, whether they're big or small, and I can definitely hold my own. I also tolerate cats just fine and am friendly with everyone I meet. My easygoing personality makes me a fantastic companion for almost any home. When I first arrived, I had a few health issues that needed attention, but I'm doing so much better now and am well on the road to recovery. Through it all, I've remained sweet, loving, and grateful for every bit of kindness I receive. My foster family absolutely adores me and says I'm a true treasure. They know that whoever adopts me is going to be incredibly lucky because I have so much love, companionship, and loyalty to offer.
