Meet Ellie! She is a seventeen-year-old, 33-pound German Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a love for outdoor adventures. Ellie enjoys long walks, beach days, and exploring with her curious nose. While she can be timid when meeting new people, she blossoms into an affectionate companion with patience and gentle encouragement. She is neutral with other dogs and enjoys calmly sharing space. Ellie is comfortable riding in the car and knows how to sit with a hand gesture.

Ellie thrives in a calm, caring environment where kindness leads the way. She is sensitive to raised voices. She would be compatible with a patient family who can offer gentle guidance, steady structure, and plenty of time outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Ellie has begun to experience age-related changes, including some vision decline and possible hearing changes. She has a benign lump that is monitored, but she remains bright and engaged on her daily walks. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
