Meet Akira!

Akira is a 5.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix weighing about 60lbs. This sweet girl was rescued from a shelter with only minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. We can't understand why she hasn't received any applications, because this cutie has the sweetest puppy eyes and is a total love bug who wants nothing more than to snuggle with her person. During the day, you'll find her napping on a comfy dog bed until it's time for a walk. She's a good listener, follows commands well, and takes treats very gently. To keep herself entertained, she enjoys chewing on bones or playing with her stuffed toys.

Ideal Home

Akira adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive pups. While she would be okay as the only dog, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only, the apple of your eye.

Training & Support

Akira is fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands. She is gentle when taking treats and enjoys chewing on bones or playing with her stuffed toys.

Transporation

Akira is currently in foster care in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks, and we will place approved dogs on the next available transport.
