BETTY*

Betty is a sweet young female Terrier mix who needs a temporary foster home for a couple of weeks. She was brought to us from a situation involving distemper exposure, and while she is showing no symptoms, she needs to be monitored and socialized while awaiting a retest. Betty is a bit fearful at first, but if you give her a little time and go slow, she really warms up and shows her true, loving personality! She can do well with other confident, vaccinated, and healthy adult dogs.

Ideal Home

Betty is looking for a foster home that can provide her with a calm and patient environment for a few weeks. A home with other confident, vaccinated, and healthy adult dogs would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Betty is currently under observation due to potential distemper exposure. She is being monitored and will be retested. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

As Betty is a bit fearful, patience and a gentle approach will be key to helping her feel secure and comfortable. Socialization during her foster period will be very beneficial.
