Hi, I'm Truby. I weigh 24 pounds and came to Freedom Frenchie Rescue from Moreno Valley Animal Shelter. My journey into rescue involved a few surprises, including an unexpected heat cycle and a discovery of an abnormal uterus during my spay surgery. Thankfully, all of that is behind me now, my surgery was successful, and I'm focusing on the important things, like making sure you never have to walk from one room to another by yourself. Life wasn't always easy before rescue, but you wouldn't know it by meeting me. I wake up every day happy, hopeful, and ready to see what comes next. These days, I'm busy learning what it feels like to be loved, included, and safe.

Ideal Home

I love being near my people and prefer to know what everyone is doing at all times. I need a cat-free home, as I have a history of intense curiosity and determination when it comes to felines.

Ongoing Health

I had an abnormal uterus which was addressed during my spay surgery. My surgery was successful, and I recovered well.

Training & Support

I am potty trained and eager to please. I learn quickly and enjoy knowing what's expected of me. I need patience as I settle in, learn your routine, and figure out that I'm safe.
