Nell is a handsome 5-year-old, 58-pound Pitbull mix who is neutered and ready to find his forever home. He was found tied up and at risk of euthanasia at a local shelter, but thankfully, a loving foster family stepped in to give him a second chance. Nell is the epitome of a good boy, and we're so grateful for the foster who opened their heart and home to him.
Nell is an easygoing companion who enjoys a good balance of playtime and cuddle time. He's settled wonderfully into his foster home and has become a favorite for everyone. Whether he's engaging in a lively game with his doggy friends, lounging in the sun, or just snuggling up with his people, Nell is simply content to be in good company. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to larger companions, and enjoys a good romp but is equally happy to relax by their side afterward. While he doesn't need a canine sibling, he would certainly enjoy one.
People are Nell's absolute favorite! He's incredibly affectionate and loves to be close to his humans. Nell is wonderful with children, greets everyone with a wagging tail, and remains calm and friendly even when visitors arrive. He'll let you know if someone is at the door, but he's all smiles once they're inside. Nell is also completely house-trained and has excellent crate manners, resting quietly and sleeping through the night. He's a calm passenger on car rides, too.
Ideal Home
Nell would thrive in almost any loving home. He'd be happy with a family, a couple, or a single adopter. He'd be content as an only dog or with canine siblings. Whether your weekends are packed with adventures or spent cozying up on the couch, Nell is excited to be a part of it all.
Ongoing Health
Nell is a healthy boy and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Nell is a strong boy on leash and would benefit from continued leash training. Otherwise, he is an exceptionally easy dog to live with – smart, playful, affectionate, independent when needed, and always ready for attention.
