Henry Chestnut

Meet Henry Chestnut, a stunning Shepherd/Carolina Dog mix with a heart of gold and a vibrant spirit! Henry's journey to us was a bit scary; he was on the euthanasia list at a city shelter due to overcrowding, but thankfully, he was rescued and has blossomed into a truly joyful companion. At 7.5 years young, Henry possesses a beautiful energy that's as engaging as a puppy's, yet he's the perfect "medium energy" companion. He's always ready for an exciting walk but is equally content to snuggle up indoors for a good nap.

Ideal Home

Henry would truly shine as the star of his own show! He'd be happiest with a retired individual or someone who works from home, offering him plenty of attention and companionship. While a yard is a bonus, he's a champ on his walks and will be content in any home that provides him with love and a consistent routine. Henry is also dog-friendly and could happily share his home with another canine friend or be the sole furry resident.

Training & Support

Henry is a wonderfully smart and well-trained boy! He recently completed an elite board and train program where he mastered new commands and became a pro at walking and listening. He absolutely thrives on structure and is eager to continue learning. We're so proud of his responsiveness and the progress he's made! Training sessions are even included with the program, so you'll be set up for success. He's also a pro at using his crate and transitions in and out with ease.
