Cookie

My name is Cookie and I'm an adorable Husky and Pitbull mix! I'm a big, playful puppy with a heart of gold. While I have bursts of husky energy, I'm a surprisingly good listener and a quick learner. I've already mastered "sit" and I'm doing wonderfully with potty training. I'm still figuring out how to tell my humans when I need to go out, but I'm getting there! I used to be unhappy when kenneled, but I've learned that my humans always come back, and now I wait quietly. I enjoy playing with the other dogs in my foster home, though I'm still learning to play gently. I'm very curious about the cat and tend to get a little too excited, but I listen when I'm told not to chase. I'm a huge snuggler and love to be close to my people, though I'm still working on the concept of personal space. My humans tell me I'm still a puppy and will likely grow to be an extra-large dog with a good amount of energy, so I'd do best in a house rather than an apartment. I'm so excited to find my forever family and can't wait for all the fun we'll have!

Ideal Home

I would do best with older children who are comfortable around big dogs, as my size and energy might be a lot for little ones. I would also do best with dog-savvy cats. I need a house, not an apartment.
