YELLOW

Meet Yellow! She's a bright and sweet 3-4 year old female Maltese mix, weighing around 32 lbs, who may have some Golden Retriever in her too, giving her a warm heart and golden loyalty. Yellow is a beautiful soul just waiting for the right person to help her truly shine. While she can be a little shy and timid in new situations, she's making wonderful progress with patience and consistency. Once Yellow trusts you, her love glows brighter than summer sunlight, and she becomes incredibly loyal and loving. She adores walks, car rides, and snuggling up with her people.

Ideal Home

Yellow would thrive in a calm, easy-going home with a patient, dog-savvy individual or family. She needs a home that understands the importance of trust and respectful boundaries. A fenced yard for zoomies would be a dream! Due to her shyness and potential for growling or lunging when uncomfortable, any children in the home should be over 16 years old. She would also do well with a calm canine sibling but would prefer no cats.

Ongoing Health

Yellow is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Yellow is working hard on being less protective of her toys, food, and favorite humans. She may growl or lurch if approached too quickly or without reading her cues. Patience, consistency, and love are key to helping her build trust.
