PENNY

Penny is a sweet, shy black shepherd mix who is about 5-6 years old. She's a bit nervous but is blossoming with patience and love. Penny really enjoys being brushed, though she's not a big fan of baths. She walks well on a leash but can be startled by loud noises. Penny seems to be housebroken and is comfortable in her crate. Approach her gently, and give her time to warm up – she's a work in progress and just needs a little understanding.

Ideal Home

Penny would do best in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. Loud noises can startle her, so a quieter environment might be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Penny is currently heartworm positive and will be receiving treatment soon.

Training & Support

Penny is still learning and needs time to adjust. Patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way in helping her feel secure and confident.
