Mondo

Mondo is a handsome Australian Shepherd mix with a stunning charcoal grey coat, white belly, and spotted grey and white legs. He's about 5-6 years old and weighs 50-55lbs, but don't let his age fool you – he's an active and happy boy who loves to play! Mondo is looking for a home where he can be an active member of the family. He enjoys regular exercise, whether it's walks, hikes, or camping, and is definitely not a couch potato or an apartment dog. He’s also not meant to be left in the yard alone.

Ideal Home

Mondo would thrive in a home with a family, couple, or single person who can include him in their daily life and provide him with plenty of exercise. He can be an only dog or live with a medium to large breed dog, male or female. He is not suited for a home with no yard access and would not do well with tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Mondo is up to date on all his shots, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Mondo is potty-trained and crate-trained. He knows basic commands but is not off-leash trained. He is a smart and agile dog who learns quickly. While he had issues with fence climbing at a shelter where he didn't receive regular exercise, his foster has not experienced this issue due to his increased activity. He rides well in the car without anxiety.
