Legacy is a 9-week-old, 17-pound female Great Pyrenees. She's a spirited pup with a big personality, always ready for adventure and fun. Legacy's early life was challenging, as she navigated busy streets and faced a serious health battle with parvo. Thanks to prompt veterinary care and a loving foster family, she not only survived but thrived, proving her resilience and fighting spirit. Now, she's eager to find her forever kingdom where she can share her boundless energy and affection.
Ideal Home
Legacy would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, as she's a natural explorer who loves to make new friends. She'd do best with older children who can appreciate her enthusiastic nature. She is very social and enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who are equally playful and energetic. Her interactions with cats are currently unknown, and any diplomatic relations with the feline kingdom are pending.
Ongoing Health
Legacy has successfully recovered from parvo. She is otherwise a healthy puppy.
Training & Support
Legacy is still a puppy and is enrolled in the "Royal Academy of Questionable Decisions." She is currently teething and exploring the world with her mouth, so puppy-proof your home and provide plenty of approved chew toys. She is learning to greet people with all four paws on the floor and is working on potty training, showing promise by scratching at the door when she needs to go out. She sleeps well in her crate and is vocal when it's time to settle down for the night. While she redirects her chewing effectively to toys, she is the most vocal of her litter, expressing opinions with enthusiasm rather than constant barking.
