Meet Sky, a beautiful 3-year-old spayed female Siberian Husky weighing in at 47 pounds. True to her breed, Sky is intelligent, gentle, and friendly—but she stands out as a Husky who is on the easier side. She has a lovely, balanced personality and isn’t overly busy or full of “crazy Husky energy.” Sky enjoys the simple joys of life like going for walks, spending time with her people, and engaging in some play. She comes with great manners on board and walks nicely on leash, making her a wonderful companion for both daily adventures and relaxing downtime. Sky is a smart girl who enjoys learning and would thrive with continued positive engagement.
Ideal Home
Sky would do best in a home that can provide her with consistency, engagement, and love. She could happily live with another dog that matches her size and play style, or as a solo dog soaking up all the attention. At this time, her compatibility with cats is unknown. Due to her size and energy level, we recommend a home with children aged 10 and older who can interact with her respectfully. Sky is a wonderful blend of Husky charm and easy-going nature—perfect for someone looking for an affectionate, intelligent, and well-balanced companion. With the right home, she’s ready to shine.
Ongoing Health
All adult dogs at Animal Services have veterinary health checks, and are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed (if necessary) before going to their new homes.
Training & Support
Sky already has a solid foundation, but like any dog transitioning into a new home, a bit of refresher training will help set everyone up for success. She’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance, making training a great bonding opportunity for her and her future family. Huskies are a working breed, and while Sky is not overly high-drive, she will still need her emotional, mental, and physical needs met through regular exercise, enrichment, and companionship. Puzzle toys, training sessions, and structured activities will help keep her happy and fulfilled. Sky would benefit from an adopter who either has experience with Huskies or is willing to learn about the breed’s unique traits and needs. With the right support, she is sure to flourish in her new home.
