Alex II

Alex II is a handsome 11-month-old Heeler mix who's ready for his forever home! This sweet boy had a rough start when he was hit by a car in Texas, resulting in the amputation of his front leg. Thankfully, he received the care he needed and has made his way up north to find a loving family. Alex is a playful pup who enjoys living with other dogs and cats, and he's eager to join a new pack. He loves to romp in the grass, chew on toys, and shower his humans with affection. When he's not playing, you can usually find him close to his foster mom's side.

Ideal Home

Alex would love a home with another playful dog to keep him company. He thrives on companionship and wants to be part of the family activities.

Ongoing Health

Alex is a tripod, having had his front leg amputated. He has recovered well from his surgery.

Training & Support

Alex is working through some separation anxiety. He is comfortable in his crate when his people are nearby, but can get stressed when left alone or out of sight. He is learning that the world isn't so scary and loves to be told he's a good boy!
