Sable

Say hello to Sable, a two-year-old Retriever mix who's mastered the art of being perfectly medium. Weighing in at 55 lbs, Sable is the canine equivalent of "just right." She has a medium energy level that makes her happy with daily strolls or a good sniff around a yard. Sable prefers her playdates to be chill and with known companions, and she's content not to interact with cats, whom she considers mythical creatures. Her social skills with humans and dogs are on point, though she doesn't appreciate dogs who lack manners. Sable appreciates her routine, enjoys a good snuggle, and occasionally takes on the role of 'mom' to other dogs. She is mostly trained but is a work in progress. Sable enjoys her personal space when alone and is the low-maintenance companion you didn’t know you needed. If you're looking for a balanced dog who will quietly rule your heart, Sable is your girl.

Ideal Home

Sable would do best in a home with children 10 years and over. She is not a fan of dog parks and prefers a more relaxed environment.
