Meet Rocky! This handsome husky-border collie-lab mix was born on January 13, 2026, and is approximately 6 months old. Rocky's mom was being cared for by kind people when they discovered she was pregnant. Thankfully, Our Pet Project stepped in to help, and Rocky and his siblings got the second chance they deserved. Now, Rocky is living in a foster home in Houston, TX, where he's learning and growing every day! He's a smart, athletic, and loyal pup with a loving personality, eager to please and always up for an adventure. While he loves to play and explore, he also enjoys snuggling up with his family after a busy day.
Ideal Home
Rocky would thrive in an active home that enjoys including their dog in everyday life. His intelligent and athletic heritage means he needs both mental and physical stimulation, so a family that enjoys walks, hiking, playing in the yard, or training sessions would be a perfect fit. He'd love a family that enjoys teaching him new tricks and continuing his training.

Training & Support
Rocky is kennel-trained and doing wonderfully with potty training, achieving about 90% success! He knows his name, has great recall, sits on command, and rides well in the car. He's a quick learner and loves to engage in training activities. He is great with dogs of all sizes and good with cats and people of all ages.
