Thor is a 4-month-old German Shepherd with a gentle soul and a striking black and beige coat. He's a quiet observer with an old-soul energy, happy to watch the world go by but also ready to join in on playtime when the mood strikes. Thor strikes a perfect balance between independence and affection, often found contentedly exploring on his own before snuggling up by your side. He's an "introverted extrovert" who is calm when left to his own devices but blossoms with social interaction, offering sweet vocalizations when enjoying attention. Rescued from the Galveston shelter and thriving in foster care, Thor has adapted beautifully to home life, embracing routine and structure. He sleeps through the night, is kennel trained, and responds well to guidance. Thor gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable around adults, demonstrating a steady and adaptable nature. Transporation

Thor is currently in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (with pick up locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
