Meet Babe Ruth! This handsome three-year-old, 98-pound Boxer and American Bulldog mix is a gentle giant with a heart full of love to give. Babe was rescued from the BARC daily kill list in April 2025 and has since blossomed in his foster home. He's fully potty trained, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations and preventatives. Despite his impressive size, Babe is a total sweetheart who thinks he's a lapdog, always seeking affection and enjoying cuddles. He's a well-behaved indoor dog who spends his days napping and his nights sleeping soundly in his kennel, never causing any trouble. Babe is also a hit with visitors, greeting everyone with a friendly demeanor.

Ideal Home

Babe would thrive in a home that appreciates his XL size and loving nature. He does best as the only dog or with female canine companions, as he can be a bit dominant with other male dogs.
