Hi there, I'm Suzie! I'm a 2.5-year-old, 22 lb bundle of joy who was a breeder release and am now living my best foster life in Omaha, NE. I'm a good girl on the leash and absolutely love going for walks. My foster sister and I get along swimmingly – we enjoy lounging on the couch together and even jogging along the backyard fence. Mornings are my favorite time of day; the moment my humans make eye contact, happy shakes ensue! Curled up on the couch with my people and foster sister is pure bliss. My dream is to be your full-time cuddle buddy, napping the day away while you shower me with chest or rump rubs. When I need some "me-time," you'll find me in my kennel recharging my batteries. Stairs aren't my favorite, but I can manage a few if needed. I'm still learning my basic commands, so a little patience goes a long way, but my amazing personality more than makes up for it! If you're searching for a sweet, snuggly companion, I'm your gal! 🐾
Ideal Home
I'd love a home where I can be your full-time cuddle buddy, and a canine friend would be great too! While I can manage a few stairs, homes without extensive staircases are preferred. I'm a bit shy, especially around feeding time. I am not apartment qualified.
Ongoing Health
I recently had my luxating patella repaired and am currently in recovery. All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.
Training & Support
I'm still learning my basic commands and am doing great with housetraining and leash training. I give a little bark when other dogs walk along the backyard path.

- MABTR requires a fenced-in area from families who own their home, however, we do adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases, a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.
- MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR.
Transportation
I am currently in Omaha, NE. We do not offer transport outside of our approved adoption states.
