About Daisy
Meet Daisy! (case #16447)
If you've been dreaming of a big dog with an even bigger heart, say hello to Daisy! This beautiful 5-year-old Bully/Saint Bernard mix is the perfect blend of affectionate cuddle bug and fun-loving adventure buddy. Daisy's journey began when she arrived at the shelter as a stray. She wasn't feeling her best at first and needed some veterinary care, but with treatment and lots of TLC, she's been blossoming into the wonderful dog everyone has fallen in love with. One thing you'll notice right away? Daisy absolutely adores people. She's the kind of dog who greets you with a wagging tail, leans her whole body into you for pets, and soaks up every bit of affection she can get. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or hanging out in the yard, Daisy is happiest when she's spending time with her favourite humans. She's also a smart cookie! Daisy already knows cues like "sit" and "paw," takes treats with the gentlest mouth, and is eager to learn even more. She loves toys, enjoys interactive play, and is always ready to join in on whatever adventure you've planned. Despite her cuddly nature, Daisy is an active girl who enjoys getting out and exploring. She walks nicely on leash and would thrive with a family committed to providing daily walks, playtime, enrichment, and continued positive training to keep both her body and brain happy. When it comes to other dogs, Daisy has shown she can be quite social. During her dog assessment, she displayed relaxed, friendly behaviour and appropriate social skills with the test dog. She did become vocal when faced with a highly reactive dog through a fence, so any introductions to new canine friends should be done slowly, calmly, and under supervision to help everyone feel comfortable. Daisy is searching for a family who will appreciate her gentle spirit, goofy charm, and loving personality. In return, she'll offer unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and enough snuggles to brighten even the toughest days. If you're looking for a best friend who can keep up on your adventures and then happily melt into you for cuddles afterward, Daisy might just be your perfect match. Come meet this lovable gentle giant—you may find the missing piece of your family waiting with a wagging tail.
