Milo is a 1-year-old Parson Russell Terrier mix with the sweetest face, the gentlest nature, and a personality that is impossible not to love. He may still be young, but he is already showing what a wonderful companion he is going to be. Milo is a truly special little guy – sweet, quiet, gentle, playful, and full of love for people. He loves cuddles, enjoys going on walks, and does very well on a leash. He is also respectful of his older foster brother, Blu the Aussiedoodle, and has such a lovely, easygoing way about him.
When Milo first came into foster care, he had not had much structure and did not understand commands yet. But in a very short amount of time, he started learning the house rules, adjusting quickly to his new routine, and absolutely thriving. Milo clearly loves to learn and is very trainable, especially when treats are involved – and cheese is definitely his favorite. He learned sit very quickly for a piece of cheese and is already mastering it like a pro. Milo is also doing great with crate training. Since the crate is still a newer concept for him, he may whine a little at first, but he settles quickly and continues to make wonderful progress. He is also doing very well with house training. He only had one accident on his first day, which was completely understandable as he learned his new surroundings, and since then he has been doing a great job going potty outside on walks or when taken out. One of Milo's sweetest qualities is how much he enjoys people. He does well around the neighborhood kids and happily soaks up the love and attention they give him. He is such a little love bug and truly enjoys being part of the action. Milo is the kind of dog who brings such a good vibe wherever he goes. He is affectionate, smart, gentle, and eager to please – the perfect combination for a family looking for a loving companion. With his sweet spirit and willingness to learn, Milo is well on his way to becoming an absolutely amazing dog. If you are looking for a lovable, well-mannered pup with a great personality and an even bigger heart, Milo may be your perfect match.
