Grace is a bubbly and sweet young girl with a new leash on life! She weighs 35 lbs and her estimated birthday is 7/1/23. Grace had a very rough start, being rescued as a stray after raising her babies under a fallen tree in the Texas summer heat. Thankfully, a kind street dog feeder found her and her pups and brought them to safety. Grace quickly made friends with everyone at the rescue, both human and canine, and loves to play. Her favorite things include squeaky toys, cuddling with her doggy pals, and zooming around the courtyard. While she has the looks of a Vizsla/Staffy/Bully mix, Grace has strong herding instincts! She adores being with people and prefers to be in a group. She'll shower everyone nearby with affection but might try to "herd" anyone who walks away. Grace would do best in a home with people who have experience with herding dog breeds.

Grace is kennel trained and potty trained. She is also dog-friendly. We offer 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transporation
Grace is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee, and pick-up locations may vary, including in a nearby state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
