Poppy Lou the Panda Bear Sweetheart

Poppy Lou is an absolute sweetheart with a face that looks like a panda bear come to life! She's approximately 8 months old and weighs around 35 lbs, with what we believe to be a Lab/Pittie mix. Her floppy ears are as enchanting as her gentle, affectionate nature. Poppy is a gentle soul, not prone to excessive energy, and happiest when she's by your side, soaking up love. She's already shown she's wonderful with children of all ages and has a sweet, respectful personality with other dogs, enjoying playful wrestling matches and quiet companionship. While she can be a bit shy at first in new situations, her loving and affectionate side quickly shines through once she feels comfortable.

Ideal Home

We think Poppy Lou would be happiest in a home with a backyard where she can continue exploring, playing, and growing at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Poppy Lou is a healthy puppy. All our dogs receive full vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Poppy Lou is crate trained, potty trained, and walks fairly well on a leash. She is treat motivated and knows how to sit, taking treats very gently. She'll benefit from continued practice and positive reinforcement as she gains confidence.

Transportation

Poppy Lou is currently located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI. An $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
