Corky

Corky is a handsome, neutered male pittie who will celebrate his 4th birthday in May. He was found as part of a litter abandoned at city hall in northeast Texas back in June 2022. He found his forever home with a newly married couple in the late summer of that year, alongside his sister. Both pups were the center of attention and excelled at learning commands. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond the pups' control, the couple went through a divorce, and neither could afford to keep the dogs on their own. Both Corky and his sister were returned to foster care.

Corky, whose name comes from his delightful corkscrew-shaped tail, is a fun-loving boy who was once his daddy's favorite. He has since blossomed into a total love bug with his foster mom. Corky is a smart boy who will work for treats and has never shown aggression towards humans. He loves his walks when wearing his harness but may not be comfortable playing in a dog park with other dogs.

Ideal Home

Corky needs to be the only dog in the home and is very reactive to other animals. He does not play well with other pets. An ideal home would also have a fenced yard and no small children.

Ongoing Health

Corky is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Corky is a smart boy who is motivated by treats and eager to please. He enjoys his walks on a harness.
