Meet Sydney!
Sydney is a 7-month-old, 20lb Australian Cattle Dog mix with an estimated adult weight of 40-55lbs. Born in December 2025, she's a bundle of joy and ready for adventure! Sydney is a sweet, playful pup who loves games of fetch, wrestling with other dogs, and exploring the world. She's goofy and energetic, but after playtime, she's happy to settle down with a bone for a cozy nap on the couch. Sydney is a social butterfly who greets everyone with kisses and makes friends easily. She adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with an active canine companion or a family that can keep up with her zest for life.
Ideal Home
Sydney would do best in a home with a yard, as she can be a bit of a chatterbox and would prefer not to live in an apartment. She would also love a home with another dog to play with.
Ongoing Health
Sydney is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. She will be spayed when age-appropriate, which is covered by her adoption fee.
Training & Support
Sydney is mostly house-trained (with only one accident so far!) and crate-trained. She walks well on a leash and already knows "sit." Ongoing training and socialization are encouraged as part of responsible ownership.

- Adopters must be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach to complete spay/neuter procedures with our approved clinics.
- A completed adoption application is required to move forward.
- We conduct a vet reference check and a virtual home visit call.
