Tom

Tom is a handsome 3-year-old Bully mix, weighing around 45 lbs, with a striking black and white coat. He's a survivor, having been rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston. After two years in boarding, Tom has blossomed into a remarkably sweet, affectionate, and cheerful companion. He's a polite and calm boy in his kennel, showing respect for his surroundings, but in the play yard, his playful spirit truly shines with energetic zoomies and boundless joy! Tom adores people, greets everyone warmly, and is wonderful with children.

Ideal Home

Tom would thrive in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and play. He's looking for an experienced adopter who can provide him with the structure, leadership, and love he so deserves. We recommend homes with children 10 years and older to ensure the best fit for both Tom and his future family.

Ongoing Health

Tom is healthy and currently receiving treatment for heartworm.

Training & Support

Tom is already crate trained, potty trained, and comfortable with handling, grooming, and vet care. He enjoys the company of other dogs but is also happy to be independent, making him adaptable for various homes. He will benefit from consistent leash training and a confident handler who can provide structure, as he doesn’t yet know many commands and can be a bit stubborn at times.
