About Niko

Hi there, I'm Niko! I'm a handsome 3.5-year-old, 72-pound Black Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure. I was rescued from doggy death row and I'm incredibly grateful for my second chance. I'm still young at heart and enjoy playtime with my toys and chew bones. I'm also quite the explorer, so I think nose work would be a blast for me!

Ideal Home

I would absolutely love a nice fenced yard where I can explore to my heart's content and then relax in the sunshine. I do tend to get a little too excited around cats, so a cat-free home would be best for me. While I'm an explorer, I do get a bit nervous in crowded public places like stores, but I would be over the moon to visit a big park or somewhere less bustling.

Ongoing Health

I'm all up-to-date on my core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), and I've been spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

I'm a well-behaved boy and don't tend to bother my people at home. I'm affectionate and love to snuggle, but I'm surprisingly not very food motivated, which is a bit unusual for a Lab! I do well with other dogs, especially puppies, and I'm eager to continue learning and exploring the world with my new family, perhaps on a hike or camping trip!
