Bert

Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees with a heart full of love and a belly ready for treats! He's an independent fellow who spent his early days on a farm, giving him plenty of experience with all sorts of critters, from cats and sheep to chickens and cows. While he's got the farm-life experience, Bert is truly looking for a loving family to call his own, rather than a working dog role. If you're seeking a confident, food-motivated companion to join your adventures, Bert is your guy!

Ideal Home

Bert would thrive in a home that appreciates his independent spirit and can provide him with plenty of love and positive reinforcement.

Ongoing Health

Bert is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. He will receive a health exam and a veterinarian-issued certificate within 10 days of departure. He will also be current on flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bert is food motivated, which can be a great asset in training! We encourage positive reinforcement methods to help him learn and grow.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets are conducted via video call.
• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $300 plus transport (which varies by location). This fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
• RTB reserves the right to deny any application deemed unsuitable for the animal. Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis, as our priority is to find the best possible home for each animal.

Transportation

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but are available for adoption and transport out of state to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
