Meet Monty, a calm, gentle, and incredibly loving 60lb pitbull mix with a handsome brindle coat! Monty is a wonderful companion who enjoys meeting new people and dogs, though he can be a bit protective of his person around larger or unfixed dogs. He's a quiet boy, rarely barking unless something truly sparks his interest. Long walks are a favorite activity for Monty, especially if they lead to the beach – his absolute favorite place to run and play in the sand!

Ideal Home

Monty would thrive in a home that appreciates a dog who is both a couch potato and enjoys bursts of energy. He loves cuddling and napping on the couch, and is happy to follow his people around. Due to his strong prey drive, he may not be a good fit for a home with cats or other small animals he might want to chase.

Monty is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Monty is house-trained and knows 'sit', 'stay', and 'come'. He loves learning new tricks and is very food-motivated, so positive reinforcement with tasty treats will go a long way. He's still working on 'drop it' and enjoys a good game of fetch.
