Smudge is a charming approximately 3.5-year-old, 20-pound mix who is neutered and fully vaccinated. He's affectionate and playful, though he can be a bit timid with new experiences. Smudge is working on his potty and leash training and will thrive with a patient family. He was rescued from a difficult situation in Tecate, where he had previously suffered from distemper and anaplasmosis. Now healthy and flourishing in a foster home, Smudge is ready to shower his new family with love. He truly deserves a warm, loving home where he will be cherished.

Ideal Home

Smudge would do best in a home with adults and older children. He gets along well with most dogs, but we suggest he be paired with a female companion.

Ongoing Health

Smudge is currently healthy and flourishing. He has fully recovered from his past struggles with distemper and anaplasmosis.

Training & Support

Smudge is crate trained but will need continued patience and practice with potty and leash training. With a little guidance, he'll be a pro in no time!
