Nola

Meet Nola, a stunning Bluetick Coonhound with a heart full of resilience. She spent nearly a month navigating the beaches of Bucerias, surviving on the kindness of strangers. When she was found, she was underweight, anemic, and battling Ehrlichia, later diagnosed with TVT, a treatable cancer. After receiving antibiotics, vaccines, and a full course of chemotherapy, this brave girl is now healthy, healed, and ready to find her forever family. Nola is a sweet, grateful, and resilient dog who absolutely loves her walks and is great on the leash. She does have a typical Coonhound voice and will bay and howl.

Nola has been fully vetted and treated for Ehrlichia and TVT. She is currently healthy.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.
• During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. Our rescue has successfully completed many adoptions during the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We have successfully completed many adoptions to the US and Canada, with transport options available.
