Stella is a sweet and gentle 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as her soft, soulful eyes. Though she can be shy at first, once she gets to know you, Stella will shower you with love, cuddles, and plenty of sweet kisses! Stella came to us from a difficult dog-hoarding situation where she lived with over 15 other dogs. This high-stress environment left her needing time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. But once she warms up, her affectionate and loyal nature truly shines. One of Stella’s favorite activities is running and playing in our Bark Park with her kennel mate, Thumper, and her buddy, Oswald. She seems to do well with other dogs but appreciates a patient introduction to let her trust and confidence grow. Ideal Home

Ongoing Health
Stella has luxating patellas (loose kneecaps) in both her back legs. This condition may require surgery as she gets older and may also cause arthritis to set in earlier in life. She is currently on an anti-inflammatory medication for when her knees "act up." Despite this, she remains active and happy. Stella is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Stella appreciates patience as she warms up to new environments and people. She seems to do well with other dogs but benefits from slow, careful introductions.
