Kiddo

Kiddo is an adorable, spunky, curious, and devoted girl with a short body and short legs! She's a Dachshund mix with a big personality and a lot of love to give. Kiddo is looking for a human to call her own and shower with affection. She loves to play, go for walks (and she's a great leash walker!), and snuggle up on the couch. She's also a great travel companion and enjoys car rides. While she can be a couch potato, she also gets the "zooms" and loves to play! Kiddo is very vocal when someone approaches the house, letting you know exactly when visitors arrive. She was a staff favorite in Georgia due to her sweet and outgoing nature, and her desire for attention. Kiddo was unfortunately abandoned by her former owner at a pet store with her siblings, but was rescued and has been waiting for her chance at a loving forever home.

Ideal Home

Kiddo is looking for a home where she can decompress and adjust to her new surroundings. She would do best as the only pet in the home, as she seems to prefer human companionship over other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Kiddo has been spayed and is up-to-date on all vaccinations, de-wormings, and preventative care. She recently tested negative for heartworm and appears to be very healthy.

Training & Support

Kiddo will likely need some additional house training and basic obedience training. She is learning her foster mom's routine and has had no accidents in the past couple of days.
