REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Meet Rex, Rexie the Bestie! This bubbly, outgoing guy is a volunteer favorite for a reason. At about 4 years old and 68lbs, he's a handsome Black Lab mix who loves to run, play, and absolutely adores getting affirmation that he's a good boy. Prepare for guaranteed kisses 24/7! Rex thinks he's a lap dog and will happily snuggle into your lap, no matter his size. He was rescued as a stray and has had a tough start, but he's ready to share all his love with his forever person or people. Rex has excelled at adoption events, even joining volunteers at a local bar for an Astro's watch party, where he was sweet and enjoyed all the attention. He's also enjoyed dining out with his best buddy Bambi, patiently people-watching under the table.

Ideal Home

Rex would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention and affirmation. He is dog selective and friendly with proper introductions, preferring to be around female dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He has experience with dog-friendly restaurants and is comfortable in public settings. He is eligible for discounted training services with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training.

Transporation

Rex is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included and may include pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple ground transport services weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You can track your dog's transport using the Life360 app and will receive updates. You may also stay informed through Facebook chats.
