She's a head-turner with a happy, boundless personality, intelligence, and devotion that make her a loyal companion ready for a new best friend. Augusta is a training graduate who has mastered several commands, heels nicely on a leash, and is crate-trained. She thrives on consistency and enjoys focusing on her handler, making her an excellent partner for someone who can guide her using basic commands. Her love for people shines in her desire for snuggles and companionship. She is incredibly smart and can quickly pick up on cues, especially when treats are involved! When she was first found, Augusta was unsure of the world and sometimes felt defensive. However, with time, structure, and trust, her behavior has transformed. She now responds beautifully to guidance and routine!

Augusta would do best with an attentive pet guardian who understands how to manage her interactions and provide ongoing structure. She thrives with an active lifestyle and would do well in a home where she can enjoy physical exercise and mental enrichment. She is best suited as the only pet in an adult-only home with a guardian who has experience handling high-energy dogs and is committed to maintaining her progress.
