Nala

Nala is a sweet 3-year-old, 8lb Yorkie mix who is looking for her forever home! She's a true snuggle bug who loves to be with her people, cuddle on the furniture, and play with her toys and other dogs. Nala is housebroken and kid-friendly, but she's not a fan of cats. She's used to having a secure fenced-in yard, and while she's learning to love leash walks, she'll need some continued training and patience in that area.

Ideal Home

Nala thrives in a home where someone is present often and can give her lots of love and attention. She absolutely loves to cuddle on the furniture with her people and enjoy her Benebones. Homes without cats are a must.

Ongoing Health

Nala has epilepsy that is triggered by stress and is managed with lifelong medication. Her new family will need to ensure she continues her medication regimen and monitor her closely. She is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Nala is housebroken and good with kids and other dogs. She'll need continued patience and positive reinforcement for leash walking. She also benefits from a calm environment to help manage her epilepsy. Nala's foster also requires that she have at least two weeks to settle into her new home with just her immediate family, with no visitors during this adjustment period.
