I'm just a baby.

Everyone keeps telling me the world is full of soft beds, kind people, toys, treats, cozy homes, and all sorts of wonderful things.

I believe them.

It's just... I've never really seen much of that before.

Everything is new right now. A leash. A doorway. A gentle hand. The sounds inside a house. Sometimes it's exciting. Sometimes it's a little overwhelming. But every day, I learn that maybe this big world isn't quite as scary as I thought.

The people who loved me wanted a better future for me, and when life changed in ways no one could have expected, they made the heartbreaking decision to let others help me find it.

So here I am.

Still just a baby.

Still learning.

Still hoping.

Somewhere out there is the person who will show me what it's like to grow up feeling safe, loved, and part of a family.
