Hi, I’m Derek, a gentle 3-year-old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix weighing 15 pounds. Rescued from a hoarding situation, I’m now learning how wonderful life can be in my foster home in Albion, Michigan. I love snuggling with my people and burrowing under the covers.

I’m sweet and gentle, and I get along well with people and other dogs. I may be shy when meeting someone new, but I become a loving companion once I feel comfortable.
