MAYZE

Mayze is a quiet, thoughtful girl who appreciates being given a moment to get to know someone. Once she's had the chance to say hello in her own way, her softer side shines through. She enjoys gentle pets, will happily circle back for more affection, and is content to relax nearby once she feels comfortable. At 7 to 10 years old, she's left the puppy antics behind and seems much more interested in peaceful companionship than constant activity. Mayze has lived successfully with cats and children and already knows cues like sit, stay, and lay down. She appears to be housebroken, rides well in the car, and has been accustomed to free-roaming in a home. While veterinary exams can make her uncomfortable, she's shown that with a patient, respectful approach, she settles in nicely and enjoys spending time with people. Mayze has some skin irritation, mild ear inflammation, and dental tartar that will benefit from continued care, but she's ready to begin her next chapter with a family who will appreciate the loyal, gentle companion she has to offer.
