Blue

This sweet little Yorkie boy, Blue, is ready to find his forever home! Blue is 3 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. He was surrendered to a shelter because his previous owner was no longer allowed to have pets in their apartment. His foster parents adored him and considered keeping him, but realized that a younger, active family would be a better fit for his energy level and ensure he has a lifelong home.

Ideal Home

Blue would thrive in a home with a younger, active family who can play with him, take him on walks, and enjoy time with him in a fenced yard. He would prefer a home where someone works from home or has a flexible schedule, as he doesn't like to be alone. An apartment or condo would not be a good fit for Blue, as he barks at things he hears or sees outside.

Ongoing Health

Blue is neutered and vaccinated. He is not 100% housebroken and will wear a belly band.

Training & Support

Blue barks at bigger dogs when out walking, though he seems to like smaller dogs. He also barks at things he hears or sees out the door. He would benefit from continued house-training and socialization. He needs someone to stay out with him when he is in the yard.
